Are you ready for another fun Art and Treasure Hunt Weekend in June?
Happy Camp’s annual Art and Treasure Hunt Weekend will take place on June 9 and 10 this year. This event is the perfect opportunity for a Klamath River Valley yard sale, craft show, or art show – we’ll be advertising in multiple newspapers to get the word out.
For those of you living elsewhere, this will be a great time to come visit beautiful, scenic Happy Camp, California. We’re on the Klamath River Highway, also known as Highway 96. From Highway 5, get off at the Klamath River exit and drive west 64 miles. Or you could get here by driving east from Eureka, through Willow Creek, Hoopa, and Orleans.
Highway 96 is a beautiful drive this time of year. Expect wildlife and wildflowers!
There’s a third way to get to Happy Camp – over Grayback Mountain, from Highway 199 in Oregon. The Happy Camp turnoff is between Cave Junction and O’Brien. You’ll see St. Johns Wort growing on the roadside this time of year on Grayback!
Once you get to Happy Camp expect to meet the community! We’ll be having yard sales, craft sales, art shows and sidewalk sales! There will be a map to show where registered sales are located.
